Moldy Peaches / Moneybrother
Bra bandnamn och grymt foto! Och bara några sekunder in i första låten är jag såld! Hade jag inte haft skivan skulle jag köpt den.
Detta är indie, indiepop, men lite annorlunda sådan. Det låter inte som svensk indie brukar göra. Det låter mer som originalen. Det är tjej/kill duo som turas om att sjunga till enkla ackord. Det är helt klart influerade av Moldy Peaches. Man experimenterar mycket med olika stilar och ibland misslyckas det men ibland låter det riktigt bra.

”Southside Stalkers formed in 2005 after Sparrow and Indy became friends after being cursed by having the same stalker. True story- scary times. Indy had just left Swedish megastar Moneybrother's band, with whom he was the original organist and pianist. As Southside Stalkers, the pair recorded their debut album "the Sound of Speed" in 2005 with Indy playing all of the instruments and the two sharing vocal duties. In 2006 the album reached the top 200 in the US despite having no support from label or distribution company. Pure word of mouth. Live, they play as a six piece, including the legendary Pirate Pete on bass. An EP- "Bones"- was released in 2008 and performed pretty much the same as the first album. Now, seven years later, a new album has been recorded, mixed, and mastered and is just waiting to be released. here are a few tracks for your listening pleasure. Stay groovy. Indy and Sparrow.”
